Factory: Wedgwood
White earthenware (pearlware), transfer-printed underglaze in blue. Circular with narrow sloping border, shallow sides and very slightly convex centre. Decorated overall with 'Blue Bamboo' (or 'New Chinese pattern with Urn'). A vase decorated with a seated figure playing a stringed musical instrument is standing on a low table flanked by bamboo and flowering plants. The sides are decorated with a trellis band, and the rim with a floral border.
