Description

Silver; unusually large, the cylindrical sides pierced with a dog and birds amid scrolling foliage

Silver; of unusually large size, the cylindrical sides are pierced and engraved with a dog and birds amid scrolling foliage beneath a rope edge border. The almost flat cover is engraved with a border of flowers and foliage. The leaf capped double scroll handle has an openwork shell thumbpiece. There is a blue glass liner, which may be a replacement.
