Description

White earthenware transfer-printed in ochre-yellow, and painted underglaze in blue, overglaze in red and yellow enamels, and gilt. Circular with deep curved sides and flat centre, recessed slightly underneath. Central Japan pattern, three sprays on the sides, and border of hatched triangles and red and yellow half flowers at intervals.
