Description

Aphrodite standing in profile to the right. Her himation is draped around her legs but otherwise she is nude. In her left hand she holds a palm-branch on the stem of which, to the right, is perched a dove. In her right hand she holds an apple. Aphrodite rests her left elbow on a column against which a shield is leaning. ground line.
