Description

Bust of a bearded man (possibly a Mage) facing; his hair is bushy and is especially luxuriant over his ears; the nose is large and the eyes circular and protruding. He wears an elaborate tunic, the upper part of which (visible on the gem) has an elaborate neckline. A Pahlavi inscription over the bust is read by Bivar 'pst'n ('L)yzd'n-'Reliance on the gods'.
