Bust of Aphrodite (Venus), three quarters to the front. Her face is youthful, and her hair is parted at the forehead and arranged in long strands , swept upwards and secured by means of a headband. The features recall those of both Antonia and Livia. the goddess wears a chiton and holds a cup in her left hand with which she nourishes an eagle with swept-back wings, representing Imperial power.
