Half-length bust of a male child. He has full cheeks and his hair is arranged in a series of waving locks. His body is draped, apart from his hands, which clutch two pine-cones of different sizes, and ear of corn and a leaf. These are, of course, Dionysiac and suggestive of an other worldly interpretation; also two wings, now largely cut away, more properly belong to Eros.
