There are two impressions known to exist. First impression: line 1 on p. [ii] reads "LONDON :"; leaves A5,6 both signed "A5". Second impression: line 1 on p. [ii] reads "LONDON:"; only leaf A5 signed; p. 214, line 15 has uneven left margin, with "Towards the sea" reset. Cf. Barnes: E. B. Browning.
Ms note by Sydney C. Cockerell dated Cambridge Feb 4 1902: "This is one of the books that the brothers D. G. Rossetti and W. M. Rossetti owned jointly in their early manhood. The name above [Rossetti] is the autograph of D. G. Rossetti, who also made the pencil corrections on pp. 74, 177, 194, 257, 260" -- front endpage.
Laid in: typed passage from W. M. Rossetti's Reminiscences concerning books merely signed "Rossetti".
