Description

Pewter ciborium and cover (container) with turned finial. Engraved script initials MB.
The lid is struck on the inside with a crowned X and maker's mark for John Shorey (bird on a rose) and this is also on the side of the body. As well as a bird in a shield and I.S in shaped cartouche.
