Pewter tankard. Straight sided, with flat lid and double lobed thumbpiece. The body and lid have been stamped with stylised a fruiting vine and rampant lion. The handle has been crudely engraved with the initials 'IBM'.
Marked with L? with fleur de lys in a heart.
There are some doubts about the authenticity of the thumbpiece
