Description

Pewter tankard. Flat lid with twin lobed thumbpiece and single scroll handle. Inside the lid is a portrait medallion of Charles I, after a rare memorial medallion, possibly by Thomas Rawlins.
Marked with an hourglass in a beaded circle

Believed to be a fake.
