Description

Silver; two handled cup

Silver; the circular foot and stem raised in one piece, and supporting a deep cup with rounded base, straight sides, an applied horizontal moulding about a third of the way up, and a slightly everted rim. The plain hollow S-scroll handles have a slight inward curve at the top to serve as a thumb rest. Near the top on one handle are the initials of a man and wife, 'M/I N'.
