The Virgin and Child with the Annunciation, Nativity, three Magi, and Presentation

Ivory, carved in high relief, comprising a central tabernacle with a foliated arch, and two free-standing columns, flanked on each side by two hinged wings with conical crocketed tops, and two registers of foliated arches. The Virgin stands in the tabernacle holding the Christ Child in her left arm, and holding a flower in her right hand. The upper panels of the two wings on the left enclose the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin, and those of the two wings on the right, the Nativity, with Joseph on the left presenting the Christ Child to the Virgin, watched by an ox and ass. The lower left two enclose the three Magi, two in one wing and one in the next, and the lower right two, the Presentation in the Temple with the High Priest on the left and the Virgin holding the Christ Child on the right.
