Tortoise-shell with oval miniature of a wicker basket of flowers
Tortoise-shell set with a miniature in bodycolour on card, mounted under glass in gilt metal. The rectangular box has slightly concave sides with a gilt metal hinge. The oval miniature depicts a wicker basket of flowers including roses, narcissi, auriculas and delphiniums, on a marble slab.
