Soft-paste porcelain painted underglaze in blue, and with traces of gilding. Circular with alternately arched and scalloped rim, and shallow well. Decorated in the middle with a flowering plant with an insect flying above it. On the rim are four flowering sprays, and a narrow border of a zig-zag line forming triangles each filled by a semi-circle surrounded by short strokes, over which are the remnants of a gilded border.
