Hard-paste porcelain dish, painted in polychrome enamels, and gilt. The quatrelobed oval dish stands on a wedge-shaped footring, with a further low serpentine support in the centre of the base. It is painted with a continuous wavy festoon of flowers looped over a border of criss-crossed pink and blue ribbons interspersed with gilt florettes, the centre with a spray of a rose, auriculas and other flowers, and the rim with a gilt dentil border.
