Production date: AD 1891 : Between 1878 and 1893, Rooke spent half his time making drawings of cathedrals and ancient buildings on the Continent for John Ruskin. The date 1891 given in the old card index is nowhere inscribed on the drawing; presumably it was communicated by Rooke directly to Sir Sydney Cockerell.
