Description

Soft-paste porcelain saucer dish, painted underglaze in blue, overglaze in iron-red and green enamels, and gilt in Imari style.

Soft-paste porcelain saucer dish, painted in underglaze blue, iron-red and green enamels, and gilt. Circular with lobed sides, standing on a low footring. The inside is painted in the Japanese Imari style, with a curved spray of millet and chrysanthemum in the centre, and on the rim with radiating panels of diaper overlaid with mons.
