Bronze, cast. Jeanne leans on a thin staff, held by both hands against her chest. She stands with her left leg slightly forwards and the weight of her body on her right leg. Her body is hidden in the thick folds of a long cloak. On a shallow circular bronze base, cast in one with the figure, except for a small segment of the base which is cast separately.

The work was executed towards the end of the artist's life and one of the few sculptures undertaken by him. The plaster is in the possession of descendants of the artist. The bronze is believed to be one of twelve cast from it.
