Soft-paste porcelain fob seal, painted in pale green, pink, puce, red and greyish-brown enamels, and gilt. A Cupid standing beside a tree stump on an oval base. He holds a tankard (?) in his right hand and his quiver and a gold heart are on the ground in front of him. The base is inscribed in red capitals 'JE LE TROUVERAY'. The base is mounted in an oval gilt-metal band containing an uncut bloodstone seal. A gold suspension loop is attached to Cupid's back by means of a pin inserted into the porcelain.
