History note: WH, said to be a farmer at Crosscomb; one of his descendants of the fifth generation living at Shallowford, near South Molton, Devon; bought in 1911 by Theodore Charbonnier, Linton, Devonshire, from whom bought in 1912 by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, FRS, Trinity College, Cambridge
