Description

Hollowed moulded earthenware dog. With floppy ears, open mouth, and curly tail. Body once covered with a green lead glaze, and then fired upside down, as indicated by broken spurs on the nose and tail, and congealed glaze drips on the tips of the ears. Fine pinkish tan biscuit
The hole at the rear allows the escape of heat during firing.

The glaze has dissolved into silver irredescence in parts, and totally dissolved in others. Missing front leg has been restored
