Maker: Unknown
Grey earthenware mould made lady and horse, on a flat rectangular base. The figure was originally coated with white slip and decorated with bright blue, blue green, red and black paint. The figure has delicate features and side locks (chignons) with a slender body and clinging garments. The rider sits upright with hands hidden beneath her long, flowing sleeves, which make holding the reins impossible.
