Dark celadon jade with brown areas, well hollowed and boldly carved with gnarled branches of peach issuing from one side and extending over and around the irregular body. Two bats are carved around the rim and one underneath. The head of the bat has the features of a rat, which is a style of 19th century. Peaches are a symbolic of longevity and the bat is a pun of luck
