The Three Ages of Man

Copper alloy, probably copper, gilt. Heads of a young man, a middle aged man and an old man facing outwards in three directions. The three heads are surmounted by a dome-shaped crown which rises towards its centre into a peak capped by a small, spherical knop.
History note: Traditionally described as having been executed by Ghiberti for 'a Duke of Milan'.
