Description

Hand built dark grey stoneware vase with incised decoration. The globular body has a rounded base and straight sided flaring neck. The lower part of the body is decorated with faint impressed diagonal lines inclined in different directions. The upper part of the body and neck are smooth. The upper part of the body is decorated with a pair of incised horizontal lines between groups of close set wavy lines. On the neck there is a horizontal line, a group of close set wavy lines, three horizontal lines, and two horizontal lines between groups of close set wavy lines.

There is a repair in the rim, and two dark shiny splodges over it
