Greyish jade cup resting on a tall footring. The handles are decorated with feline dragons in high relief. Incised on the footring the character yong, eternal. Jade cups in this form are very commonly seen in the late Ming dynasty. It is possible that this object has been treated to give the appearance of having been buried and of great age
