Silver, cast in relief and chased, mounted on an oval amethyst plaque, in a rectangular wooden frame.

Notes

History note: Putatively collection Emperor Joseph II, from whom to a lady of the bedchamber on her marriage to Signor Corradi of Urbino. Collection Mr Wilfred Buckley of Basingstoke; sold by the Executor of the late Mrs Buckley at Sotheby's 22nd June 1937, Catalogue of Objects of Vertu, Minatures, etc., p. 9, lot 55; Lt Col. the Hon. M.T. Boscawen, DSO, MC (1892-1958)
