Description

Fritware, mould made, painted in blue, green and turquoise with black outlines under a clear glaze
Shape: a roughly square panel comprises four square tiles, arranged in two rows of two tiles enclosed by an ebonised wood frame
Upper surface: a sinuous stem is adorned with flowers of varying size including tulips and groups of rosettes (with the appearance of bunches of grapes). Framing the panel a frieze of scrolling half palmettes and flowers is reserved in blue.
Lower surface: not visible due to hanging of panel.
