Description

Porcelain teapot and lid, painted in purple and gilt. Globular body decorated with buildings, figures, trees and water in oval panels, surrounded by gilt scrollwork and festoons of flowers. Gilt scroll handle. Spout in the form of a pug dog's head. The lid has an applied flower knob and foliage.
Marked with a small picture, and an 'A' in a shield.
