Production: Capodimonte Porcelain Factory
Soft-paste porcelain with very pale duck egg blue glaze, painted in polychrome enamles and gilded. The cup has thick lower part of bowl, but the walls have much reduced thickness from the base of the angular handle upwards. A small out turned lip on the saucer. Painted in colours with 'classical' figures in landscapes, and cherubs in cloud scrolls. Gilt lip to cup and rim of saucer.
