Buff stoneware, thrown, and altered by squashing inwards, with matt black/bronze glaze with rough surface; base unglazed Cylindrical with a slightly project lower edge, sloping sides, slightly convex shoulder and central mouth deformed by the action of pushing in the side to create a large dent.
