Description

Bronze; pear-shaped octagonal in section, standing on a slightly splayed octagonal foot; an octagonal collar separates the body from the slender neck, which supports a broad octagonal rim with a deep groove flanked by shallower grooves on the side and a deep groove on the top surrounding the circular mouth. The body is decorated with slender pointed leaves centred on the facets and a band of chevrons above the foot. Inside the footring there are two engraved concentric circles.
