"The prints are hand-made by the artist from copper-plates worked by engraving, etching, aquatint and soft-ground etching. The colours are applied from intaglio and relief, and additional colours are added by hand to some pages after printing. The typography and printing of the text are by Sebastain Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge. The edition, on hand-made paper, is bound by George Percival at Leicester, and is limited to 70 copies."--t.p. verso. Museum has copy no. 8 signed by the Lubbock. Provenance: presented by the author 1977 (label). Binding: Green morocco with a design by the artist blocked in gold on front cover; gold lettering on spine; top edge of pages gilt. In slipcase with marbled paper.
