Factory: T. J. & J. Mayer
White earthenware, moulded and decorated underglaze with a multicolour transfer print. Circular. On top of lid 'Alma', inscribed 'ALMA', Omar Pasha with the Duke of Cambridge, Lord Raglan and Marshal St. Arnaud (d.1854); elaborate border composed of laurel leaves, etc.; green used; black key plate. Inside, printed in black 'ROBER(T) F(EAS)T/15 & 16/PAVEMENT/FINSBURY SQUARE/LONDON'.
