Potter: Bowen, Clive
Earthenware, thrown, tooled, and decorated with slip under honey-coloured glaze.
Reddish-buff earthenware, thrown with prominent throwing ridges, and tooled horizontal bands under the lip on the neck; pulled handled with a longitudinal ridge, and below it a tear-shaped projection with three finger impressions in it. Coated with white slip and decorated with five slip-trailed plant sprays, and three bands of trailing above the base, slip-combed to produce six scallops, before application of honey-coloured glaze. The interior is greenish dark brown.The base and a short distance above it is unglazed.
