On top of lid 'The Rose Garden', inscribed 'COLD CREAM OF ROSES/PREPARED BY G T JERRAM LATE WHITAKER & Co 69 HATTON GARDEN LONDON'; printed in dull turquoise and black with green, blue and rose pink added by hand; border of a gold line.
