White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a clear glaze. Blue, yellow and red with a brown key plate. Circular with a sloping rim and flat central area. 'The Poultry Woman', after C. Matzee, encircled by narrow border Fig. VIII k. (Williams-Wood, p. 103) between gilt lines; green enamel ground; outer border 123 with three gilt lines.
History note: Bought by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher on 5th July, 1924.
