Description

White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a clear crazed glaze. Blue, yellow and red with a brown key plate. Circular with a sloping rim and flat central area. 'The Thirsty Soldier', after The Tired Soldier by Frederick Goodall. Encircled by a narrow scroll and semi-circle border and a gilt line; green enamel ground; outer border 123 with three gilt lines.
