Description

White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a slightly greyish crazed glaze. Blue, yellow and red with a brown key plate. Circular with a sloping rim and flat central area. 'Shakespeare's House', inscribed 'SHAKEPEARES HOUSE HENLEY ST STRATFORD ON AVON'. Encircled by a 'pearl' border between two gilt lines; red enamel ground; outer border 123 with three gilt lines.
