Description

Red morocco rectangular case with silver clasp

Red morocco with silver clasp; green silk lining. Rectangular, with 'concertina' sides and a flap folding over one end. The upper and lower parts of the clasp are surrounded by pierced scrolls, foliage and flowers in rococo style. Concealed by the flap when closed, is an inscription in black ink 'Richard Fitzwilliam/1765'.
