Description

Silver gilt circular box with a plaque of George III on lid and another of George II on base, both signed I.V.N (? John van Nost). Inside the box is a series of etched pictures with engraved letter press with the title: "A short history in miniature of the origin & progress of the late war from its commencement to the exchange of the ratification of PEACE between Great Britain, France & Spain on the 10th of Feby. 1763."
