Painted horn, or possibly tortoise-shell, with gold, silver and mother-of-pearl piqué work; circular, the lid decorated with an urn of flowers
Horn painted to resemble tortoise-shell, or possibly genuine tortoise-shell, with gold, silver and mother-of-pearl piqué work; circular with pull-off lid. The straight sides and flat lid inlaid with small red and yellow gold stars. The lid inlaid with a yellow gold urn with mother-of pearl, silver and red and yellow gold flowers and leaves, within a border of engraved silver scrolls.
