Silver, parcel-gilt and niello, circular with convex sides; decorated with a rustic scene

Silver, parcel-gilt and niello, circular with convex sides and hinged lid. The lid is nielloed with a rustic scene depicting a man against a background of buildings and trees on a punched gilt ground. The sides and base nielloed with a geometric chequered pattern centred on a flower in the concave base. The interior is gilt.
