Rectangular, rose, purple and yellow agate box with gilt metal mounts, standing on four ball-shaped feet

Rose, purple and yellow agate panels mounted 'en cage' in gilt metal. Rectangular with straight sides and a flat lid with the hinge on the long side; standing on four ball-shaped feet. The mounts stamped with a border of palmettes.
