White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a clear glaze. Blue, yellow and red with a brown key plate. Circular with sloping rim and flat central area. 'Philadelphia Independence Hall', interior, inscribed 'INTERIOR VIEW OF INDEPENDENCE HALL PHILADELPHIA', encircled by a pair of brown lines; outer border 123 without gilt lines.
History note: Bought by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher in London, 20th April, 1925
