'A Halt Near Ruins' and 'The Wooden Bridge'

White earthenware, moulded, decorated with coloured transfer prints under a slightly blue crazed glaze. Blue, yellow, red and green with a brown key plate. Ovoid with a lip and loop handle. 'A Halt Near Ruins' and 'The Wooden Bridge', both in trefoil-ended oblongs enclosed by gilt lines; magenta ground; border pattern 123 with three gilt lines at the top and gilt lines round the lip and on the handle.
