Red earthenware, moulded in relief and covered with a clear lead-glaze which appears olive green and brown near the edges. Five small deeply scooped keys are on the back. Square. Design is based on renaissance foliage: a rosette formed by four fleur-de-lis coming together at the centre of each corner.
