Enamel on base metal; rectangular the lid painted with a carousing couple
Enamel on base metal with gilt metal mounts; rectangular, with slightly concave sides and hinged domed lid. The box is painted in coloured enamels on a white enamelled ground. Depicted on the lid are a couple carousing with wine in a wooded setting; the sides and base are painted with sprigs of flowers. Inside the lid is inscribed 'Richard Green / Kidderminfter / 1761'.
