Description

Professor John Kay Jamieson was Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Leeds between 1918 and 1935. His death in 1948 was commemorated by the establishment of a prize for work in Practical Anatomy, for which Allan Gairdner Wyon designed this medal. This example is a bronze specimen from Wyon's workshop.
